Ogilvy seeks to recruit an Art Director to join one of our Creative Teams. An Art Director is a conceptual and visual architect of brand experiences who leads brands into fresh creative territories while always being mindful of how the work looks and feels. They possess strong visual and verbal skills and are skilled presenters. Above all, they are problem solvers who approach projects with rational and innovative mindsets and are experts in design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic and web design or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position at an Advertising/Design Agency
• A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to craft visual concepts for a brand across a variety of mediums
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience working with big brands is a plus
• Strong eye for typography and layout
• Curious and knowledgeable about the latest design trends
• Strong Art Direction abilities across advertising disciplines
• Desire to take on new challenges, grow, and learn every day
• Ability to think outside the box and develop unexpected ideas and concepts

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Above-the-Line and Below-the-Line campaign ideas independently, creatively and suitably
• Work closely with the creative lead to bring the team's visual concepts to life
• Collaborate effectively with Illustrators, Copywriters, Directors, and Photographers
• Play an active role in brainstorming sessions
• Create convincing presentations for the client
• See opportunities in day-to-day briefs to be on the front foot and come up with fresh and innovative ideas
• Learn new skills and software as required
• Understand and appreciate the nature and value of the client's brand
