Job Description

Found.ation is looking for an experienced professional in the field of EU and other funded Projects. We are looking for a Research amp; Innovation Project Manager to develop and implement key projects of the company. The candidate must be tech-savvy, have experience in the field and understand the concepts of innovation, digital transformation and technological advancement. They are expected to have very good project management skills having led in previous roles relevant projects.

Responsibilities

    • Design and coordinate EU projects, all the way from the tasks assigned to project partners and internal teams to the implementation of subtasks in all project’s aspects, ensuring quality and monitoring final delivery.
    • Supervise, coordinate and undertake project related tasks, including but not limited to draft and review deliverables, services and reports based on quality objectives/standards.
    • Lead day-to-day project management activities, including but not limited to monitoring of deadlines, costs, timeplans and resources.
    • Monitor and map EU funding opportunities in the context of different Funded Projects Programmes, such as Horizon Europe, CREA, CERV, Erasmus+, Interreg, etc. throughout the year. Prioritise and make concrete and sound recommendations for proposal submission. Lead the consortium building process while leveraging the organization’s network.
    • Communicate effectively both within the organisation, as well as with external partners (academia/ research, freelancers, industrial partners, public authorities, etc).
    • Assist in the operational and procedural aspects of the EU Funded Project business unit, creating and drafting processes and policies, to ensure team alignment and capacity building.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Management, Economics, Engineering or other related discipline. A postgraduate degree will be considered an asset.
  • At least 5 years of experience in relevant roles having previously coordinated and led consortiums in EU Ramp;I programs (Horizon Europe, CREA, CERV, Interreg). Proven record in successful proposal preparation and/or implementation will be requested.
  • Ability to transfer strategic objectives in business growth opportunities.
  • Ability to manage and control project management responsibilities including project objectives, requirements and constraints.
  • Sound organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and strategy development skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership for quality of work and deliverables.
