As a result of our rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Marketing Operations Manager. The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for helping drive positive marketing results for MarineTraffic by harmonizing marketing activities, creating alignment, and driving efficiency through people, processes, technology (MarTech stack and automations), and data. Furthermore, they will oversee the activities of the Marketing Operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing forecasting on Marketing goals and objectives, ensuring the team is aligned with the company's goals.
  • Management, development and maintenance of Marketing reports and dashboards to monitor Marketing KPIs and overall Marketing performance
  • Marketing plan maintenance and budget monitoring to ensure alignment to strategy and plan, and on-time and budget execution
  • Streamline the various marketing processes for higher effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ownership of the Marketing onboarding
  • Overview of the MarTech stack, and management of platform requests for the Marketing team.
  • Ownership of the lead scoring and attribution systems
  • Oversee lead qualification for higher lead to customer conversion rates
  • Budget management, by tracking expenses, forecasting future spending and optimising spending across channels.
  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders from other teams, like Sales, RevOps, Customer Success, Business Technology, Product and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on processes and projects
  • Lead the Marketing Ops team and build team culture

Requirements

Required

  • 4-6+ years of Digital Marketing and/or Marketing Operations experience
  • Degree in Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related field
  • Experience with planning and strategy
  • Deep knowledge of Marketing software and CRM platforms, and object relationship mapping (preferably HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Deep understanding of demand generation, lead engagement and nurturing, revenue attribution, account and lead stages, lead and contact statuses, customer lifecycle, and sales funnel
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics and Tag Manager to drive business insights and understand website behaviours
  • Experience communicating business insights amp; ROI to senior Marketing, Sales amp; Product leaders, from the data collected by our marketing systems
  • Ability to understand Business Intelligence analysis and get meaningful insights out of them
  • Deep understanding of marketing automation strategies and best practices
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Quality focus
  • Strong project management skills, and the ability to prioritise projects managing conflicting priorities and lead an efficient project-oriented team
  • Ability to efficiently communicate ideas to people coming from different backgrounds
  • Ability to identify needs and opportunities across the marketing operations of a SaaS company, and translate those needs to project specifications
  • Excellent command of the English language

Desired

  • Experience using ABM tools
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics platforms (eg Looker, Tableau)
  • Experience with A/B testing tools for web and email
  • Experience with conversion rate optimisation
  • Proven track record improving conversion rates from leads to MQL to SQLs
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
