ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an agile energy trade company active in Europe, is seeking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join their Team.
Job Location: Athens’ North Suburbs (hybrid)
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing trading strategies in the electricity market, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities for profitable trading. You will work closely with the trading desk and data science teams to develop advanced trading algorithms that optimize trading activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms for electricity trading analysis and optimization.
- Work with large datasets to identify patterns and insights to inform trading strategies.
- Use statistical analysis to continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of our trading models to identify areas for improvement and new trading opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in machine learning and data science relevant to electricity trading.
Requirements
- Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Strong background in machine learning and data science.
- Strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages.
- Experience with big data technologies and databases.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience, as ML Engineer OR Data Engineer OR Data Scientist and overall successful track record in creating / implementing ML Models
- Familiarity with energy trading platforms and experience developing and implementing machine learning algorithms for electricity trading is desired but not essential.
