Manpowergroup Greece, on behalf of one of the worlds’ leading Telco companies, is seeking for Java Software Engineers to join their Product Development International Team.
Workplace Location: Thessaloniki Greece with a Hybrid Model or Full Remotely (you need to be Greece based)
What you will be doing:
Our client has created an Engineering Hub in Thessaloniki and you will be collaborating with local amp; international teams
You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, developing new functionalities, optimizations, supporting and maintaining the existing Product. Our client mostly works with Agile Methodology and their stack is Spring Boot focused amp; Microservices.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Plan and prioritize your work, including collaborating with cross border teams
- You will collaborate in team with Developers, Program Managers, QA and Devops Engineers in an agile development environment
- Constantly learn and grow as an engineer
- Demonstrate a passion for customers and technology
Requirements
- University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 2 to 5 year's experience in professional software development
- Experience programming in advanced Java SE / EE platforms
- Experience in Spring Boot, Spring Framework
- Experience of creating architecture or developing web services using Open-source technologies and to integrate applications with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB
- Solid understanding of OOPS, algorithms and data structures
- Experience on Kafka, Elastic Search and Web Services like RESTful
- Extensive experience with version control systems (Git is preferred) and issue tracking systems (JIRA is preferred)
Experience in any of the following will be highly appreciated:
- Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems
