Job Description
GRNET holds a key role in implementing Greece’s digital transformation goals (gov.gr), as well as developing and promoting network and computing technologies and applications for the academic and scientific community.
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Building Information Modeling (BIM) Senior Expert to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to take a leading role in driving innovation in the construction industry and help shape the future of building design and delivery in construction’s industry analysis and software development.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert for BIM, providing guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain BIM processes, workflows and standards to ensure quality and consistency across software projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects using BIM technologies and methodologies
- Lead the implementation of BIM on complex and challenging projects, ensuring project delivery within budget and on schedule
- Mentor and coach junior members of the team, helping them develop their skills and experience in BIM
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and industry partners to promote the benefits of BIM and drive its adoption
• Stay up to date with the latest BIM technologies, methodologies and best practices, and share knowledge and expertise with the team and wider organization
Requirements
- At least 7+ years of experience in BIM and construction technology, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
- Strong technical knowledge of BIM technologies, methodologies and workflows, including Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM authoring tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, users of the offered services and team members
- Experience in leading and mentoring teams, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire others
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a willingness to share knowledge and expertise
- Technical University Diploma (3-5 year) or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related field
• Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies is a plus
