Job Description
GRNET holds a key role in implementing Greece’s digital transformation goals (gov.gr), as well as developing and promoting network and computing technologies and applications for the academic and scientific community.
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Building Information Modeling (BIM) System Designer to join our team. As a BIM System Designer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative BIM solutions for our users of the offered services in the building and construction software analysis and development industry.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and design customized BIM solutions to meet their needs.
- Develop, implement and maintain BIM systems, including software, hardware, and databases.
- Create and maintain BIM workflows, standards, and templates to ensure the efficiency and consistency of BIM processes.
- Act as the technical lead in BIM projects, providing guidance and support to junior team members and ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and tools and provide recommendations on how to integrate these into our solutions.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues with BIM systems.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the BIM systems, and monitor the quality of BIM data.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Technical University Diploma (3+ year) or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM design and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of BIM software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, or AutoCAD.
- Experience with cloud computing and Agile project management methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
