Senior Network Installations and Technical Support Engineer

Job Description
MCOMS is looking for a skilled engineer with strong IT technical background to join our installation and technical support team in Athens.
Key Accountabilities
Implement Installation, configuration and integration of MCOMS Guest facing technologies for MCOMS customers in all different contexts (Hospitality, Cruise ship, Healthcare and Senior living)
Deliver 2nd and 3rd level advanced technical support services for MCOMS customer base as per company’s policies and procedures.
Implement IP network design amp; optimization projects for MCOMS customers.
Manage customer complaints and requests as per MCOMS Tickets management policy amp; associated KPIs
Prepare reports and documentation in cooperation with other departments (Product Development / Presales / Content)
Requirements
Deep Technical knowledge in IP Network infrastructure amp; technologies (Cisco, Aruba) in design implementation and support pillars. Knowledge of IPTV Network protocols would be an extra asset.
Good knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 Operating systems administration.
Very good analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to handle and solve technical problems, attention to detail.
Strong team player, good communication skills.
Positive to invest time and energy to master new skills (Cloud technologies, next generation networks).
Ability to travel in Greece and Europe up to 20% per year for short duration company projects on customers sites.
Technical Background
BSc Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent hands on experience
Certification in networking from Cisco, (CCNP preferable) or equivalent proven hands-on working experience (minimum 3 years)
Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
