Chief Maintenance

for a new luxury hotel opening Yi Hotel Mykonos in S2023

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic hands on Chief Maintenance responsible for the proper administration, supervision and direction of the hotel’s maintenance functions to achieve an optimal physical condition of the property and maintain the hotel assets. Keeps every aspect of the property in good repair and maintains ahigh qualitylevel of work.

About the role

• Responsible for assuring attentive courteous and efficient service in the department while maintaining adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead cost.
• Lead and inspire the in-property team, to deliver a consistent level of service
• Implement preventative maintenance programs for the property/equipment.
• Oversees team members in maintenance department
• Make sure all operational maintenance work projects| orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Complete preventative maintenance logs.
• Able to convey information and ideas clearly
• Able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately

Requirements

• Hotel experience and or area knowledge is highly desirable.
• Necessary job certifications(Diploma/Degree in Engineering and Maintenance or related professional area)
• The ability to improve and maintain high service standards.
• Pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
• A self-motivated, driven, results orientated, and proactive attitude is required.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop the department and to ensure accomplishment of goals. Able to set priorities, plan, organize, delegate and control.
