Job Description

We are growing fast and strong; our operational risk management function likewise! As such we are looking for an Operational Risk Manager, with proven expertise in managing operational risks related with electronic payments and digital banking.

You would join our team of thinkers amp; doers in Athens, Greece and propel the operational risk management function to the next level.

The successful candidate will take over obligations including:

  • Perform operational risk identification and assessment in business units, through a RSCA process;
  • Facilitate amp; participate in risk workshops;
  • Monitor and communicate action plans to prevent, eliminate and mitigate operational risks;
  • Assist business units in development of key risk and control indicators;
  • Implement the operational risk incident capturing process and guarantee that timeliness, integrity, and quality control are maintained;
  • Ensure appropriate review of the financial impact of operational incidents, as well as root cause and business impact analysis;
  • Coordinate with senior management in performing operational risk reviews for new products and services, including outsourcing activities;
  • Deliver Operational Risk training workshops;
  • Report operational risk issues and data to senior management and regulators on a regular basis;
  • Maintain documentation for risk management and risk policies and procedures;

Requirements

To be considered you should have:

  • Proven experience in operational risk management (at least 3 years);
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics and/or Banking, Business Administration, Computer Science, or relevant fields;
  • Experience working in an agile environment;
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • High attention to detail and hands-on attitude;
  • Self-starter with the ability to pro-actively find solutions;
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and ownership;
  • Excellent teamwork skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English.
