Our UniQue Team is growing and we are looking for a Jira DevOps Engineer to join our team! You will be working on a number of exciting projects in a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
- Configuration, maintenance, and administration of Atlassian products (specifically: Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and the relevant plug-ins).
- Work with client’s development and design teams to identify procedural efficiencies, such as Jira Workflows, custom fields, automation, releases, Service Management channels/groups, etc.
- Perform application and system administration tasks, including scheduled jobs, re-indexing, add-on updates, etc.
- Manage user permissions according to the needs of projects and teams, maintain JIRA projects, project permissions, users, and user groups.
- Prompt issue resolution with JIRA Projects in coordination with other admins, partner teams, and Atlassian premier support.
- Maintain JIRA projects, project permissions, users, and user groups.
- Improve JIRA security, and set access permissions for JIRA projects.
- Work with JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, fields, and JIRA boards.
- Test new versions of the tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility, coordinate, and be actively involved in Atlassian product upgrades.
- Research and utilize industry-standard methods and techniques.
- Conduct training for existing staff members and new hires on JIRA and brief the teams on new functionalities.
- Evaluate and manage the usage of Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs.
- Analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement.
- Research and implement new approaches on Jira usage.
- Manage multiple responsibilities with tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Configuration, maintenance, and administration of Atlassian products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence).
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with JQL, IQL.
- Working knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience extending Atlassian products via code development (Groovy scripting) is preferable.
- Experience directly integrating Atlassian products with other systems is preferable.
- Knowledge of Adaptavist ScriptRunner is preferrable.
- Set access permissions for JIRA projects and Confluence spaces.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Greek.
