Testing Engineer

WINGS ICT Solutions is looking for a Testing Engineer to join the growing team. The main responsibilities of the successful candidate will involve:

• Understanding business requirements, identify test environment and dependencies on external /internal applications
• Creating optimized test scenarios and executing test cases to verify that a systemic/ application is built as per the requirements,
• Performing functional testing (automation or manual)
• Estimating testing efforts, report status, log and document defects, support defect resolution,
• Analyzing the test outcome for continuous improvements.

Requirements

Educational requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field

Necessary skills:

• Working experience as a testing engineer (automation or manual)
• Understanding of financial services or banking testing methodologies
• Good knowledge of Jira Testing Tool or other methods
• Strong documentation skills, experience in documenting test scenarios
• Ability to interact with clients, technology and project management teams
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g, Rational tester, Jmeter, Cucumber etc.)
  

Desired skills:

• Working experience in the banking sector will be considered as a strong plus
