Job Description
ACTIONLINE is looking for Junior Software Developer Internship, for a software company.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Junior Software Developer is part of an agile development team building and working on enterprise software applications. The Junior Software Developer is involved in all areas of development from design to development to testing.
The duties and responsibilities of the Junior Software Developer include:
- Develop, test, and maintain web business applications
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates
- Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
- Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
- Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
- Package and support deployment of releases
- Work with teammates in the migration of older applications (asp) to current technologies
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
- Analyse and resolve technical and application problems
- Provide third-level support to business users
Desired Skills amp; Experience
- College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Strong desire to learn Core Competency Requirements
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
- Familiarity with version control concepts
- Ability to work autonomously
Preferred Competency Requirements
- Exposure to Microsoft .NET development using C#
- Exposure to web development using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript Knowledge of client/server application development
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of unit testing theory
Other
- Work hours are in CET timezone, between 8:00 and 18:00 CET.
- Type of work: full remote
- A good level of English is required. French, would be a plus.
