Our partner is ranked among the biggest European players in digital payments, providing global payment solutions for third parties, Central Banks, Corporates and the Public Sector. Thus, your interest should be vested in the FinTech sector. A new opportunity is now available for a Junior DBA to join the team.
Mission:
As a Junior DBA you will be responsible for designing, implementing and administering the databases assets, ensuring quality and security. You will reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Team. Your technical skillset must include knowledge of various SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, My SQL with prioritization in Microsoft SQL. Some main daily tasks of yours include identifying system requirements, monitoring system performance and maintaining security. It is also really important for you to enjoy constant learning and dream of evolving in a growing team within the Banking sector.
Requirements
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Keep databases up to date
- Implementing security measures
- Make sure that the Data integrity is carefully managed
- Managing database security/integrity and backup procedures
- Migration to new product versions
- Day to day administration of heavy-duty banking oriented databases in platforms (Oracle, SQL, POSTGRE SQL, MYSQL)
Qualifications and Experience
Must Have:
- BA or BSc in Computer Science or Beng in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Software
- 2+ years hands-on experience as DBA in Infrastructure team
- Proficient in the use of English
Nice to have:
- Experience in banking systems
