Job Description

Euronet Worldwide EFT division seeks to employ a Chargeback Analyst who will join the Fraud Europe Team. The successful candidate with be based in Athens, will be reporting to the Fraud Team Leader, and joining efforts with widely spread Euronet teams globally.

Requirements

Key responsibilities:

  • Disputes and chargebacks handling (merchant acquiring) according to the International Card Organizations’ regulations.
  • Preparation and analysis of dispute related reports.
  • Daily cooperation with merchants, issuers, and processors.
  • Provide advice and education to merchants on proper card acceptance and chargeback prevention best practices.
  • Close cooperation with Fraud, Credit Risk, Compliance, Finance, and other internal teams.

General Requirements:

  • University Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a related academic field.
  • A minimum four (4) years of proven track record delivering in a Chargebacks related job role.
  • Ability to understand the Chargeback reasons and the associated risk, being able to quickly categorize disputes as Fraud or Financial disputes.
  • Keeping track of the Chargebacks throughout their end-to-end lifecycle
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Eligible to work in the EU on full-time permanent basis without the need of employer sponsorship.
