Job Description

Viva Wallet’s Financial Crime Product team is looking for an AntiFraud Technical Product Owner.

The AntiFraud Technical Product Owner will lead the strategic vision and roadmap for managing financial crime risks, complying with all required regulations while delivering the best possible experience to our clients.

The successful candidate needs to have a solid understanding of Financial Crime and fraud risks and experience working in fast-paced technical environments. As an AntiFraud Product Owner, you will be working alongside Software Architects, Analysts and Software Engineers and various other teams to facilitate the design, development and delivery of infrastructural engineering solutions, internal tools amp; procedures.

More specifically, as an AntiFraud Technical Product Owner, you will:

  • Lead the planning, development and implementation of multiple technical projects
  • Participate in the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience
  • Partner with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner
  • Get involved in our product development process to ensure adequate controls to prevent fraud are in place
  • Create, manage, and prioritize a product backlog to optimize stakeholder priorities and use of resources
  • Collaborate with support teams to understand operational impacts and ensure that solutions meet stakeholder needs
  • Be required to display a comprehensive understanding of iterative software delivery to provide quick viable technical solutions to complex problems
  • Leverage customer feedback to influence priorities and roadmap
  • Perform 3rd party/vendor due diligence related to the Antifraud scope


Requirements

To be considered as a candidate you should have:

  • 2+ years experience of Authentication, Cyber Security or Fraud product management in the Financial sector, preferably working on building an in-house Anti Fraud system;
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in interpreting business requirements, recognizing impact on business processes, making recommendations and defining both process and systems components of a solution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate excels at taking an idea and turning it into a complete set of requirements and proposed solutions
  • Ability to research and resolve issues independently while working across teams to acquire needed information and collaborate in order to deliver solutions
  • Ability to prioritize projects and efforts according to business need and fraud trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications
  • Ability to manage a product roadmap, manage stakeholder expectations and merge them into the product vision. Ability to work with engineering teams to deliver solutions.
