ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an International Technology Services Provider, with focus at offering digital transformation ticketing services in the airline industry is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join amp; guide their QA team.
Workplace Location: Greece Fully Remote (you need to be based in Greece and holder of a valid EU Work Permit)
What you will be doing:
You will be reporting to the QA Manager, and by being a part of a competent QA team, you will be developing and executing automated test cases while supporting amp; guiding the other team members, too. You will be also working closely with the clients’ teams, Business Analysts and Product Owners with the aim to create test cases. Lastly, you will be playing a major part in improving the company’s product and software QA lifecycle by exploring and identifying new test strategies and tools.
More specifically, you will be:
- Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide on-time valuable feedback
- Coordinating amp; prioritizing testing activities as well as creating detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases with the use of open-source tools like Karate, Cucumber, Selenium or Jasmine
- Developing test strategies, plans, and maintaining automation test data
- Developing, executing and continuously improving automated tests as new system features are developed
- Identifying and reporting to product teams questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies
- Assisting in the identification, selection, and implementation of new tools, technologies, and practices or in the improvement of established ones that support the overall QA process
- Identifying, recording, thoroughly documenting, and tracking bugs
- Performing regression testing when bugs are resolved
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance
- Strong experience with test automation and test management tools
- Hands-on experience with programming languages
- Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes will be appreciated
- Experience Azure Test Plans and TFS, VSTS (MS TEST), or JIRA will be a strong asset
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus, too
