F amp; B Captain / Sommelier

About the role:

• Dealing with guests amp; answering any questions regarding wine list
• Advising guests in wines based on their personal tastes and food choices
• Responding effictively to requests and complaints
• Pairing amp; explaining wines with tasting menu
• Updating the wine list in coordination with the Famp;B Manager
• Ensure optimal storage
• Recommending food and wine pairings

Requirements

• Previous working experience in a similar position
• WSET level 2 (or equivalent studies)
• Excellent command of English language both verbal and written
• Be a team player and a great communicator with guests from all over the world, colleagues and managers in all departments
• Upselling, organizational and communicational skills
• Sales oriented: must be able to recommend wines to patrons and improve profits in order to meet financial targets
• Positive attitude, hospitality oriented, passion for excellence
• Professionalism, responsibility
