Our Greek practice in Athens is one of the premier law firms in Athens for energy and infrastructuretransactions, including mergers and acquisitions, project development and project finance, and is at the forefront of large and innovative deals, working with a range of clients from some of the world’s leading energy, infrastructure and real estate companies, banks and key Greek market players. Role Overview
You will be actively involved in complex multi-party contractual drafting and negotiation for a range of issues relating to some of the largest and most ground-breaking projects in Greece, including construction, supply and other project documents as well as direct involvement in Mamp;A transactions.
Key activities/responsibilities
You will:
Liaise with the client throughout the transaction;
Draft and negotiate Greek-law construction and supply agreements (in English and Greek);
Correspond with all parties involved in a case, including clients, counterparties, lenders, foreign counsel, technical and other experts;
Support clients in participating in public tenders and privatisations;
Respond to queries and comments raised by clients and funders; and
Participate in corporate Mamp;A transactions and due diligence reports.
Requirements
Skills and experience essential
4-5 years’ experience in drafting and negotiating construction and/or equipment supply agreements, preferably for energy/infrastructure projects.
Experience in Public Procurement Law will be considered as a plus
Excellent English is a must.
Law degree from a Greek university.
