Big Data/Analytics Developer (Hybrid)

Job Description
PLANET S.A., the leading Greek management and project management consulting and Enterprise solution company, is looking for a Big Data/Analytics Developer, to join their extensive Digital Services and Solutions Division.
Working within the Planet software development and digital services division will provide candidates with an agile and sheltered cooperation environment for developing their skills as well as being productive in large enterprise projects.
Development teams within Planet work in a highly agile manner and within a mentored scheme for skills’ development of team members.
Requirements
- Experience developing highly performant dynamic data flows in SQL.
- Understanding of traditional ETL tools amp; RDBMS for End-to-End Data Pipelines.
- Experience in development of data visualization solutions with leading tools.
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse principles.
- Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data, IBM Watson Studio.
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Science amp; Technology, or related field.
- Demonstrated 1+ years’ experience in real world Big Data solutions.
Experience in any of the following will be considered as a plus:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is considered a plus.
- Familiarity with Cloudera Distribution and Search Engines (Elastic Search, Solr etc.) is considered a plus.
- Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive etc.) including NoSQL technologies (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB etc.) is considered a plus.
