PeopleCert is looking for a Network Administrator that will be responsible for the support of all IT activities. You will contribute your domain specific knowledge, skills and best practices working closely with a team of talented professionals who have created an ISO 27001 certified operational environment operating on 24/7 basis, based on a hybrid infrastructure with heavy virtualization on Cloud and Office 365 services.
As a Network Administrator, your tasks will include the following:
- Install, configure, test and document equipment and network systems according to design and specifications.
- Lead the day-to-day networking tasks ensuring reliability, availability and serviceability with minimal interruption.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary actions to support network availability.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 level support for problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
- Configure firewall security settings to access permissions groups for individuals and sets up provisions for incoming data.
- Upgrade network technology or expansion projects, including installation of hardware, software, and integration testing, as well as coordinating these activities without disturbing function of other systems.
- Develop and produce complex documentation for installation, network topology, and troubleshooting of communications hardware or software
- Perform disaster recovery operations
- Provide technical support, responds to work orders and tickets from the users, analyses and solves reported network problems.
What we look for:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields
- Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
- Minimum 2 years of networking experience in a similar position
- Excellent understanding of Network amp; Firewalls platforms (Cisco, Palo Alto, ClearPass)
- Experience in Wireless Technologies (Ubiquiti Networks), Network Monitoring and Capacity Managment (PRTG, SolarWinds, Syslog)
- Strong experience of Network Technologies including routing Protocols Static, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, VLANs, SPAN, Ethernet technologies, ACL, VPNs, SNMP
- Experince in VoIP technologies including QoS
- CCNA, ACMA, SolarWinds or ITIL certifications will be considered a plus.
- Communicate with various levels of management and work closely with IT network manager, IT network team members as well as IT support and systems teams
- Strong work ethic, team spirit and excellent problem-solving skills
