MarBella Collection is currently seeking for a passionate and dedicated Sous Chef to join our team for the season 2023. The successful candidate will employ its culinary and managerial skills to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction.
Duties amp; Responsibilities
- Overview all daily kitchen shift operations amp; report to Head Chef
- Supervise the use of all department equipment and report malfunctions
- Monitor HACCP procedures and ensure hygiene standards are always met
- Train the kitchen team according to SOPs
- Monitor food cost and report to Head Chef
- Assist in determining buffet menus and create decorative food displays
- Maintain purchasing, receiving and food storage standards
- Provide employee performance reports
- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
- Operate and maintain all department equipment and report malfunctions
Skills
- Strong management and organizational skills
- Multitasking with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in similar position in a 5-star hotel environment
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Fluency in Greek and English
- Credentials in health and safety training
- Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
