MarBella Collection is currently seeking for a passionate and dedicated Sous Chef to join our team for the season 2023. The successful candidate will employ its culinary and managerial skills to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction.

Duties amp; Responsibilities

• Overview all daily kitchen shift operations amp; report to Head Chef
• Supervise the use of all department equipment and report malfunctions
• Monitor HACCP procedures and ensure hygiene standards are always met
• Train the kitchen team according to SOPs
• Monitor food cost and report to Head Chef
• Assist in determining buffet menus and create decorative food displays
• Maintain purchasing, receiving and food storage standards
• Provide employee performance reports
• Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
• Operate and maintain all department equipment and report malfunctions

Skills

• Strong management and organizational skills
• Multitasking with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience in similar position in a 5-star hotel environment
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluency in Greek and English
• Credentials in health and safety training
• Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
