Purchasing Agent

The award-winning The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort and The Westin Resort Costa Navarino are seeking for a Purchasing Agent. The successful candidate needs to have excellent communication and organization skills and high ability to multitask.

Key Competencies:

• Create purchasing amp; replenishment orders based on safety stocks, lead times, storage space and needs
• Create and execute approved MC amp; SAP orders
• Maintain information and statistics’ records of Purchase Orders
• Offer competitive procurement, improvement efforts and less expensive solutions
• Smooth coordination with Storekeepers/Receivers
• Responsibly handling relevant invoices with Accounting dept.
• Creates and forwards requests for Collateral’s store refill to the buyer to be approved

• To be proactive, able to work under pressure, in a team environment but independently with good decision-making skills.
• Negotiation skills

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience as a Purchasing Agent or similar role
• Degree or Certificate in Business Administration, procurement (or related field)
• Advanced computer skills required for financial reporting and control of operations of responsibility, including use of Microsoft Office.
• Speak, write and converse freely in English.
