We are currently looking for a Contracts Lawyer or Contracts Manager to join our international legal team. This is a unique opportunity to build expertise on contract management in a dynamic business environment, while also assisting with a wide variety of legal issues.

As a Contracts Lawyer - Manager your tasks will include the following:

  • Draft, revise and review a variety of contracts with customers, suppliers and others, in English amp; Greek, working with business teams on contract negotiations
  • Ensure that a high volume of contract documents are organized and well-maintained
  • Assist with contract strategy
  • Assist with contracts and documentation in Mamp;A transactions
  • In addition to contracts, help as needed on corporate, commercial and IP law projects
  • Provide practical legal advice and support on international business matters in a fast-paced environment
  • Work closely with our internal product, business, and compliance teams, as well as with external advisors


What we look for:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) if applying as a contracts lawyer, or business degree or substantial on-the-job experience if applying as a contracts manager
  • Strong experience with both English and Greek law contracts
  • Master of Laws (LLM) or other master degree from a top university will be an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of English (C2 level)
  • Minimum 3 years of comparable experience in a top legal firm or international corporate environment, with proven experience with legal contracts
  • Exceptional negotiation and communications skills
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
  • Financial background check
  • Employment reference check.
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
