Job Description

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a leading company in the renewable energy sector, is in search of a Logistics Assistant.

Location: Glyka Nera

Working hours: Monday Friday, 08:00 16:30

Responsibilities:

The job holder will be responsible for monitoring and handling properly and with safety the storage, import amp; export of materials, for the accurate receiving and on time delivery of orders and the operation of stock counting.

More specifically he/she will:

  • Perform the job in accordance with the Quality, Health and Safety Standards and compliance with the Warehouse Standards
  • Participate in the execution of material requisition plans (MRP) and actively contribute to the improvement of stock management and maintenance
  • Conduct and support the carrying out of periodic physical inventories (warehouses, substations and service vehicles)
  • Manage, organize, and tidy the central warehouse
  • Satisfy material orders pick, pack
  • Create legal transport documents and / or delivery notes
  • Fill all relevant documents in the area of material management
  • Guarantee and monitor the accuracy of stocks in the warehouse, in the regional warehouse and substations
  • Check the expiration dates of the materials received
  • Comply with corporate goals and objectives defined under the Materials Management Department
  • Maintain contact with the entire structure of Materials Management and Operational Departments that carry out activities in their Service area and with the other Company's Departments for internal matters
  • Contribute to the fulfillment of the maintenance plan of the equipment assigned to the intervention area of the warehouse
  • Check, tidy and pack the material in the predefined locations ensuring the correct registration of movements in the implemented computer registration systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in materials management
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Fluent in English
  • Driving license for forklift trucks will be appreciated
  • Communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexible working hours
  • Problem solver and decision maker
  • Team spirit and high level of eagerness and motivation
  • Ability to work on call on rotation once a month
