As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be a significant contributor of Optasia's data-driven decision making and profits optimization. You will show extensive experience of providing business insights and building BI tools and dashboards and as part of a large team of 35 people, you will be working closely with Data Engineers, and Commercial and Product stakeholders.
What you will do
- Conduct ad-hoc and scheduled reporting analysis for a variety of projects on a daily base
- Provide business insights
- Lead the standardization of analyses and the design of reports along with Commercial, Business and Product stakeholders
- Lead the development of well-organized, insightful dashboards and KPIs to support strategic business decisions
- Be able to articulate business requirements and communicating effectively
- Desire to learn new skills and improving existing ones
What you will bring
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences, or Business from an accredited institution
- Strong analytical skills, evidence of providing data driven business insights.
- Advanced SQL skills (PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases)
- Hands-on experience on BI software and tools; especially Qlik Sense
- Base knowledge of technical tools such as Unix shell scripting, Python, Hadoop, and Apache NiFi
- Experience using Jira and Confluence; our basic workflow management tool
- At least five years’ experience in a relevant industry; mobile and/or financial
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills resulting in action-oriented recommendations
