Job Description
On behalf of our client, a leader and innovative steel producer in the industry, we are currently looking for a self-driven Electrical Engineer, to join its software development team.
A day in the life of an Electrical Engineer
You will be an expert in web engineering principles and able to demonstrate a good knowledge of web programming languages. You must be driven, hard-working and passionate about developing web and mobile apps. You are committed to producing high-quality code and delivering to deadlines. Good communication skills are a must and a good sense of humor a bonus!
Your day-to-day
- Perform and Oversee Corrective and Preventative Maintenance activities on all Electrical equipment
- Timely and valid treatment of emergency failures
- Participate, Monitor, and Control the Progress of Maintenance Works
- Upgrade, Maintain amp; Provide Technical Support for existing Electrical Control Systems
- Coordinate activities with production and quality control departments for tasks prioritization and ensure that Health amp; Safety regulations are followed
- Manage and develop the Electrical Maintenance personnel
- Support co-workers with technical assistance to Electrical Maintenance and Automation personnel.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the industrial field
- MEng Degree in Electrical Engineering (member of The Technical Chamber of Greece)
- Experience in programming PLC and HMI systems, mainly Siemens TIA Portal, in electrical controls of motors, and in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Familiarity with automation software and hardware will be considered an asset
- Great to have
- Excellent command of MS Office Applications
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
