Delivery Manager

GRNET holds a key role in implementing Greece’s digital transformation goals (gov.gr), as well as developing and promoting network and computing technologies and applications for the academic and scientific community.

We are currently looking for an experienced delivery manager to join our Delivery Management Team and who will:

• Plan, monitor, manage and deliver the implementation of multiple digital projects and services.
• Enable, facilitate and manage communication between all stakeholders (internal and external) such as business owners, ministries, public bodies, development team, contractor, legal and procurement entities.
• Develop and maintain plans that outline project status, progress of individual tasks, milestones, completion estimates.
• Deliver status and progress reporting, timely escalate problems to management, liaise with the appropriate teams to remove impediments, coordinate the implementation of deliverables.
• Organize functional and technical working groups and progress meetings.
• Prepare and manage contracts related to the projects, work closely with the procurement, legal, DPO and finance departments.
• Ensure compliance with internal business and project management processes, assist in process optimization as needed.
• Provide organizational support to the development teams.

Requirements

• Degree in the fields of computer science or engineering.
• Minimum three (3+) years of demonstrated professional experience in delivering digital projects and services.
• Experience in managing complex stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Good knowledge/skills in information technologies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Project Management Tools.
• Working knowledge of Greek is required, fluent in English.

Desired

• Experience in contract management or service design in the Greek public sector.
• Experience in process optimization.
• Certification in Agile or other Project Management methodologies.
