Found.ation?is looking to add to its Research amp; Innovation eam an experienced Proposal Writer on a freelance basis, to help develop and scale key projects and services of the company.
Responsibilities
- Participate and/ or generate innovative and compelling project ideas for submission under different calls for proposals.
- Create proposals that are succinct, coherent, credible, and competitive (related to the technical approach, methodological tools, background of the project amp; relevance, management approach, consortium complementarities and cooperation arrangements, dissemination amp; exploitation actions, and impact, etc.).
- Work together with subject matter experts to translate highly technical knowledge into persuasive proposal content that satisfies the requirements of each call addressed.
- Participate in team alignment calls and strategy meetings to define internal milestones, grasp key messages and differentiators, and generate victory themes as well as to clarify the task at hand.
- Control amp; manage the proposal finalization process, including formatting, editing for accuracy, clarity, and readability, and proofreading.
- In a time-constrained setting, proactively manage a workload that involves handling various proposal assignments and other activities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in preparation of project proposals for different EC Programmes (including but not limited to Horizon Europe, Erasmus plus, Creative Europe, CERV, Interreg).
- Sound understanding of the different EU funding instruments, their scope, objectives, and target groups.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills with impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to determine proposal concepts by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, and studying calls/ requests for proposals.
- Ability to meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent knowledge and usage of the English language.
- Strict attention to detail and accuracy; expert formatting, editing and proofreading skills.
- Superior project and time management skills.
- Team player, able to work both collaboratively and independently.
