PeopleCert is looking for an IT Director, who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end IT operations of the organization, including planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the operations of IT systems, Cloud Services, and Infrastructure. Also, he/she will be accountable for IT DevOps, IT Systems, IT Support, Network amp; Cloud Services Teams.
The IT Director will be behind the IT Strategy amp; Roadmap for future growth of the business operations.
As an IT Director, your tasks include the following:
- Ensure appropriate control structures are in place for security of business data and network
- Identify optimised IT solutions and systems (for both On-premises and Cloud) in collaboration with the Chief Architect, DevOps, Business Analysis amp; Project Management teams.
- Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware amp; software
- Ensure appropriate documentation is available for Systems amp; Network Infrastructure
- Monitor IT Logs daily and ensure any critical failures are addressed as high priority
- Set up IT Governance amp; Compliance management
- Overarch Service Desk Operations that includes first level and second level support engineers for Systems, Network, Cloud, Devops, Desktop Support and other Business Functions
- Maintain and Creating IT procedures and Policies
- Manage the IT Budget amp; Assets ensuring cost efficiency
- Conduct regular review meetings with all the key stakeholders to evaluate how systems and applications work, update on IT actions and incorporate feedback to improve the technology solutions, necessary implementation, and adoption.
- Responsible for IT vendor management and liaise with Procurement teams
- Adhere to ISO 27001 Audits and provide all IT related inputs to the Business continuity plan maintained by Security team.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members ensuring upskilling and inculcation of learning culture. Manage Performance appraisals for the team and ensuring team motivation is always maintained
- Provide IT Support to external business functions related to CEO.
- Adhere to and implement the procedures, policies, and work instructions as per the PeopleCert’s Integrated Management System

What we look for:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- More than 10 years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects
- Excellent knowledge of computer systems, IT security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems for both on premise and cloud including PBX and IVR.
- Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus) and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Competency on 2 or more virtualization platforms and consolidation techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Strong knowledge of project management principles
- Experience in Senior Stakeholder management at CEO/VP level.
- CCNA, MCSE amp; ITIL certificates would be consider as an asset
