The role:
We are looking to hire and Office Administrator to help us coordinate and run our day-to-day in our offices in Volos.
This is a role facing many critical and time-sensitive business matters, assisting across multiple functions and working directly with the CEO office to ensure business continuity.
The role will be part of a fast-paced environment with many deliverables and fluid focus changes based on business priorities.
Requirements
What you will do:
- Manage reception area and look after visitors
- Answer phone calls and transfer them as necessary
- Manage office correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail
- Communicate with relevant agencies to produce travel itineraries
- Assist in planning and arranging events
- Maintain stock lists and order office supplies as needed
- Handle expenses and billing cycles
- Manage staff expense requests
- Draft, format, and print relevant documents
- Assist in purchase orders and invoicing
- Manage outgoing post and records data on special deliveries
- Supervise all accounting operations based on accounting principles
- Interface with Greek amp; US accounting offices
- Collect, analyze and summarize account information
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures
- Develop periodic reports for management
- Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
- Attend workshops and conferences when requested
What we are looking for:
- Prior Office Management Experience Preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well and efficiently under pressure
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Exceptional Communication and Customer Service Skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Well organized with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent skills in problem solving, process improvement, requirements analysis
- Ability to Handle Confidential Information
- Time Management Skills
Nice to have:
- BS in Finance/Economics/Business Administration will be considered a plus
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles
- Presentation Skills, Including Welcoming Guests to Events
- Ability to Multitask
- Past experience with deep-tech.
- Agricultural background
- Familiarity with US GAAP is a definite plus
