Job Overview

We are looking for a Riders Operations Associate to join us in building one of the fastest on-demand delivery services in the world. You will be responsible for overseeing the department’s daily activities and will constantly be on the lookout to improve processes. The role will be reporting to the Riders Operations Manager, who is responsible for our rider fleet and will regularly collaborate with other departments. This is a career-defining opportunity to join and make an impact in the quick commerce industry in Europe.

What you’ll do:

  • Onboard, retrain and grow our rider fleet with a constant goal of creating and maintaining a healthy, safe and sustainable working environment
  • Oversee the performance of our rider fleet, have frequent meetings with them and proposing improvement plans when required
  • Manage and track our inventory of rider equipment and be responsible for restocking and ordering equipment when needed
  • Create and communicate the weekly rider shifts schedule. Ensure that we always have the optimum level of riders available on a daily basis to meet our growing order demand. This will require communication with other departments to stay ahead of demand fluctuation related to special events such as marketing and promotional activities
  • Support the Rider Operations Manager in procurement by keeping track of all payment activities
  • Prepare a monthly newsletter for our riders including useful information and upcoming events
  • Support ad-hoc in any other operational or administrative work when needed

What we expect from you:

  • Be an excellent communicator since you will have daily interaction with our rider fleet and other stakeholders in the business
  • Be able to learn fast and absorb information in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Analytical thinking and genuine interest in transforming data into useful information through excel (pivot tables and charts, previous experience will be considered a plus).
  • Extreme organizational and prioritization skills. These will help you get through last-minute changes or unexpected events, which frequently occur.
  • Propose new ideas, initiatives and processes that will improve the operational efficiency of the department.
  • Prior experience in project management will be considered a plus.
