At OilX we use the latest developments in Machine Learning and Satellite Data to provide accurate data analysis tools to energy trading professionals. Technology Stack: Our ML applications are built in Python. The Data Science fields that we use to solve our problems range from time-series modelling, which is a major part of our work, to regression, classification and clustering techniques, all the way to traditional optimization algorithms. Furthermore, there are some applications of image recognition and NLP. We use all the latest data engineering tooling to power our Machine Learning solutions along with all the modern Python web application tooling for our web application solutions. Our infrastructure is on AWS.
Currently, we are looking for a Mid/Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Athens, but being a remote first team we will consider applicants from anywhere within the European time zones.
Our recruitment process starts with an off-line exercise (completion time, approximately 2hrs) and includes up to 2 interview rounds.
