ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an international solutions provider in the area of Airport Systems, is seeking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Algorithmic and Mathematics background to join their International Product Development Team
Workplace Location: Athens or Thessaloniki
What you will be doing:
You will be part of one of the Scrum teams working on development of mission critical, line-of-business applications using full stack frameworks. You will be a key member of the Tower team working alongside highly skilled people. You will participate in the development of great software used at hundreds of airports across the globe.
More specifically you will:
- Implement professional software development within an agile environment (Scrum)
- Support the development of new features and continuous improvement
- Be responsible for estimates, quality and delivery on time, as an Agile team member
- Implement modular software solutions, perform thorough software testing and provide documentation
- Be responsible for implementation of technical solutions within short release cycles
Requirements
- Educational background in Technical Mathematics, Software Development or relevant working experience
- Strong mathematical background in discrete mathematics and stochastic
- Strong knowledge in algorithms and mathematics
- Experience in a high-level programming language (e.g. Java, C++), preferably Python or Scala
- Interest in data fusion algorithms, functional programming and data analysis
- Interest in aviation business and software technologies in the field of Air Traffic Control
- Strong English language skills, German language would be an asset
- Driven and motivated personality with high-energy attitude
- Team player mentality that allows working in an international environment
- Passionate with software development, mathematics, and algorithms
- High level of autonomy and professionalism
