ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a global leader amp; pioneer in Mobile Marketing Automation, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our client's QA team.
Location: Company is located in North-East suburbs of Athens (Hybrid working model is followed if you’re based in Attica or 100% remote for non-Athens based candidates).
By joining the QA automation team, you will be part of a competent team with the aim to support business objectives and improve company’s product by adding value in full software development lifecycle, from concept amp; design up to testing.
More specifically, you will be:
- Contributing to automation testing to confirm new products’ and modules’ functionality
- Designing and implementing tools for automated tests’ execution
- Ensuring designs follow specifications and cover all aspects of the implementation
- Providing feedback on the design of documentation and creating test plans
- Actively involved in Unit testing of application modules
- Analyzing release notes for turnover to testing, including configuration specifications and details of changes in each release
- Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting them for architectural review
Requirements
- University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 2 years of hands-on software development experience is required
- Proven experience in software testing
- Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration and Release Management principles
- Experience in automation testing using Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, SikuliX, or other similar frameworks
- Good scripting skills (Python is preferred)
- Hands-on experience on Linux/UNIX operating system
- Excellent knowledge of SQL (experience with NoSQL will be considered as a plus)
- Working experience with testing against distributed systems and asynchronous communication will be considered as an asset
- Ability to work well under pressure
