Who We Are
The HOME Project is a non-profit organization that has provided relief to more than 570 lone refugee children in Greece. Through a holistic network of child protection services via an individual development plan that includes mental health, educational, social, pedagogical and legal support, we aim to provide a home for every unaccompanied refugee child that arrives in Greece. Our additional programs include professional training and internship opportunities for the children, funding partnerships with similarly-focused international humanitarian aid organizations, and participation in high-level dialogues at worldwide summits raising awareness and support for lone refugee children.
Job Description
The HOME Project is looking for an experienced Mental Health Coordinator who will be responsible for the coordination of the mental health department as well as overseeing assessments, supervisions, training, evaluation and reporting regarding mental health issue. She/He will be member of the Child Protection Unit (CPU) and she/he will be in close cooperation with other members of the CPU team supporting children and adolescents through individualized development plans and by implementing appropriate therapeutic techniques.
We are looking for an organized, problem-solving, multi-tasking, individual with great attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, who is particularly passionate about assisting refugee children and who is up for rolling up their sleeves and wearing the many hats needed to support the smooth operation of The HOME Project.
