Job Description

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a multinational group that operates in the logistics industry developing innovative supply chain solutions and high-quality services to its clients worldwide, is seeking for an enthusiastic and result oriented Customer Service Representative to evolve clients potential and deliver high standards of Customer Service in forwarding and sea freight operations.

Role involves:

  • Target new clients and ensure sales growth with a portfolio of existing and prospect clientele under the scope of Customer Service in accordance with the annual business plan.
  • Deliver excellent customer service; respond to queries and objectives, offer advice, and promote innovative solutions.
  • Keep a network with Ocean operations managers in different Group entities to practice and share continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure communication with teams of other Group entities to enhance sales activities.
  • Participate in critical customer visits and support business growth undertaking new ocean freight projects; anticipate the procurement requirements and plan accordingly.
  • Carry out monthly/quarterly formal reviews for critical customers.
  • Maintain and develop business relations with carriers for each country served; obtain rates and maintain tariffs.
  • Support the capacity management, shipment planning and carrier invoicing processes.

Requirements

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain and logistics will be a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in general cargo transport in a forwarding company
  • Experience in ocean and air transport will be an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English with the ability to communicate effectively in diverse multicultural environments
  • Proficient user in Microsoft Office applications
  • Thorough understanding of ocean freight market drivers
