Job Description

We are looking for an experienced User Researcher to join the UX and Digital Product team. Your mission will be to deepen our knowledge and understanding of our customers and apply these insights to the development of products.

As an integral member of the UX team, you will be responsible for conducting, analyzing and reporting on all research activities. From contextual studies, in-depth interviews and journey mapping to card sorting, tree testing and usability tests, you will ensure that research is appropriately embedded every step of the way.

This is an exciting and challenging role where you will be working across a wide portfolio of projects and products that will affect thousands of users every day. A key component of this role will be working through complex UX e-publishing platforms as well as creating solutions for other services. Your research will span the digital space as well as positively impacting the physical experience beyond.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years proven experience working in consumer focused companies
  • Ability to organize and facilitate both field and desktop research
  • Experience taking a lean research approach and working to tight deadlines
  • Ability to write scripts for task based testing
  • Ability to synthesize data and offer actionable insights to stakeholders and team members
  • Comfortable refining concepts in a fast paced and iterative environment
  • Ability to map research findings to business strategy
  • Solid understanding of UCD methodology
  • Exceptional written and spoken English with suburb presentation skills


NICE TO HAVE
  • BA/BS degree in human behavior related field such as HCI, Psychology, Anthropology or Social Science.
  • Ability to sketch and wireframe concepts based on findings.
