About The Role
Working on top of worldwide research content amp; knowledge, our Machine Learning amp; Data Engineering team explores new ideas and develops novel, AI-powered solutions which help publishers amp; researchers to know more, do more amp; achieve more.
We are looking for a talented and self-directed Machine Learning engineer to expand our AI/ML amp; Data engineering team in the areas of:
- Text Mining and Natural Language Processing
- Representation Learning, Similarity Analysis amp; Recommendation
- Machine Learning Engineering including Deep Learning
- Concept amp; relation extraction
As an integral member of the AI Ramp;D team, you will be responsible for exploring and developing effective AI-powered services which address a wide range of use cases in the above-mentioned areas and empower innovative features amp; solutions. This is an exciting and challenging role where you will have the opportunity to work across a wide portfolio of products and have impact on them.
A Senior-level ML engineer is preferred, but all levels may apply.
Requirements
MUST HAVE:
- BSc or MSc degree with a strong GPA in Computer Science or Machine Learning related fields
- A passion for Machine Learning amp; AI-powered solutions
- Strong background and experience in most of the following fields: Text Mining, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Representation Learning, Information Retrieval amp; Content-based Recommendation
- Proficiency in Python programming language
- At-least two years of experience on developing and deploying ML / AI models in real-world environments as part of a large-scale production system
- Experience with various ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace Transformers, spaCy, scikit-learn, SparkNLP, etc
- Fluency in English written amp; oral
- Team player who enjoys working collaboratively
- A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
NICE TO HAVE:
- Extensive practical experience in aggregating, exploring, transforming, manipulating and processing large scale data (cleansing, normalization, linkage)
- Experience with end-to-end ML workflow life-cycle (MLOps, CI/CD, A/B Testing) and various related tools (e.g., MLFLow, CubeFlow, Airflow, CloudBuild / Jenkins)
- Experience with scalable and interoperable ML models and DL inference pipelines (e.g., ONNX, TensorRT)
- Experience with various big data platforms and technologies for large scale distributed-data storage, data-processing and text-based / vector-based search (e.g., Apache Spark, ElasticSearch, RedisAI, Milvus.io, FAISS, BigQuery, SQL, etc)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Google Cloud
- Familiarity with Python API development frameworks (Flask, FastAPI) amp; containerization
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Git amp; Jira
- PhD or Postdoc in Computer Science or Machine Learning related fields
