We’re growing fast, in both headcount and revenue, and we’re looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Engineering Team!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive software quality assurance lifecycle as part of Agile process and deliver high-quality releases on time
- Establish and coordinate test strategies with development/product teams, design and implement test plans and test cases
- Contribute to the maintenance and creation of test automation frameworks for the Workable platform services and components
- Develop and execute automated UI and functional tests
- Enhance and maintain automated CI flows
- Troubleshoot issues in systems under test
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or a proven strong background)
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test for a production environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, particularly written communication
- Proficiency in web application testing
- Experience in at least one programming language Java, Groovy (preferred), Ruby or Python
- Experience in Continuous Integration process, version control, defect tracking and test management tools such as GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc
- Experience with build tools such as Gradle, Maven and / or Ant
- Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver and / or TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber
- Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases
- Attention to detail and the ability to triage - diagnose complex issues in application testing
Extra bonus for:
- Proven experience with testing in native mobile applications (iOS, Android)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes platform and technology stack
- Experience with microservices architecture
