BBT Air Aviation Services, a fast-growing General Sales Agent (GSA), representing airlines in Greece territory, is looking for an experienced Sales Executive, for its headquarter office, based in Agios Dimitrios, Athens.
The Sales Executive, will be responsible for the development of the B2B sales portfolio, consisting of travel industry stakeholders, such as Travel Agencies, Tour Operators and Corporates. The role will refer directly to the Commercial Manager and should be able to contribute the maintenance and development of current B2B portfolio.
Responsibilities and Duties
Contribution to the Annual Sales Plan preparation
Implementation of the Annual Sales Plan
Sales Visits in major cities and selected islands in Greece
Introduction of and engagement to airlines’ direct sales platforms
Resolve customer complaints effectively, liaising on a daily basis with all departments and airlines
Contracting with Travel Agencies and Tour Operators, where necessary
Track accounts’ activity and performance, on a monthly basis
Meet the team objectives, goals and priorities ensuring these are aligned to the business
Provide input and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the daily operation
Participation to events, exhibitions etc.
Requirements
Skills amp; Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or another similar field
3+ years of working experience in an Airline/Travel Agency Sales position
Good knowledge of GDS and reservations/ticketing experience
IATA diploma will be considered a plus
Working experience in an airline/GSA is more than welcome
Hands on experience with Excel and Powerpoint
Excellent proficient in English
Good understanding of the aviation business
Marketing and Social media experience (desirable)
