Every product, software and hardware, is entirely developed by SEMITRON and produces at its private owned establishment that is based in the industrial area of Sindos in Thessaloniki. This business model offers Semitron the flexibility to provide its clients with tailored solutions to meet their unique needs as well as to run multiple small volume projects.

Currently we are looking for an Electronics Plant Manager to drive continuous improvement and optimisation of all processes of the production.

You will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. You will develop processes that will maximize safety, quality and productivity.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience of minimum 5 years as a Plant Manager
  • Proven managerial experience
  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
  • Familiarity with electronics industry standards equipment and technical expertise (Six sigma, Kaizen, IPC standards, SMT Technology)
  • Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation and inventory processes
  • Ability to create a positive working environment
  • Coordination abilities
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
  • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literacy
  • BS or MS degree in Business Management or related field (operations, production management)
