Job Description

  • Responsible for the lifecycle of the assigned product and its services (content, package, platform)
  • Works with the Customer Experience teams to ensure the product package is consistent with our strategy
  • Works with the Technology teams to ensure the product platform is consistent with our strategy
  • Responsible for the go to market approach and execution (for new products/services and/or major changes) until the product/service is independently sellable
  • Support business development and sales efforts as required in order to achieve agreed targets for the assigned products/services
  • Assures the product’s quality and timely service delivery to customers and cooperates with the appropriate teams in customer related issues
  • Performs reviews and benchmarks of the product’s market standing and its service offering in both depth and breadth, in order for the product content to satisfy customer demands and remain competitive in its offering Sets the priorities in new functionality enhancements, defines the development roadmap and manages product changes
  • Responsible for the delivery of the Business and Functional Specifications of new product services Horizontal peers
  • Cooperates with other colleagues on issues and processes that require cross-functional cooperation projects
  • Participates in projects as a team member or leads projects as an accountable owner, contributing time, skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience as a Product Owner ideally focused on the value added services and into the small retail amp; ordering arena
  • Product development experience with one or more of: retail, ordering, m-commerce, etc.
  • Strong experience in understanding the customer needs (customer outcomes orientation) when it comes to ordering amp; retail solutions and scoping them in an efficient manner
  • Proficiency in authoring, owning and prioritizing epics, features, user stories, backlog grooming, prioritization, sprint planning and release management activities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Jira software applications
  • A blend of business understanding and technical savvy; big-picture vision and a passion for owning products all the way from ideation to post-launch and go to market activities management
  • Understanding of all aspects of Agile/Kanban product development and delivery
  • A proven track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing and often conflicting priorities
  • Excellent technical acumen, curiosity, and familiarity with emerging technologies
  • Winning attitude, self motivation, excellent teamwork and presentation skills
  • Communication skills and flexibility necessary to work with collocated/remote and cross-functional teams
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage work time to ensure the accomplishment of specific goals
