Java Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain large and complex web-and Java-based applications
• Develop front-end and back-end systems in multi-tier architectures
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, focusing on software quality
• Participate and contribute to software architecture design
• Provide guidance to the development team in terms of product deployment, security and availability
• Propose, compare and evaluate different infrastructure options and service deployments

Requirements

• Proven hands-on Backend Development experience (at least 3 years)
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies
• Experience in Spring Boot amp; Spring Batch Frameworks
• Experience with test-driven development
• Dev/Ops knowledge (Azure Cloud, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Drone.i, etc)

Nice to have

• Experience in any JVM language is a big plus
• Knowledge of Unix based systems
• Experience with NOSQL databases
• Experience with cache management
