Our Creative and Digital Media services are growing and we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven individual to manage the Digital Media Department. You will be the Head of a growing team of Digital Media Experts delivering both creative and cutting edge solutions.
You will be responsible for all Digital Media design and production processes, while staying on top of all trends and leading the department’s growth. Your goal will be to facilitate and further develop the design and production of unique advertising and Digital Media assets for our customers to support them in their digital journey.
For this position, we expect you to be a creative and tech-savvy professional with a keen eye for aesthetics, attention to detail and exceptional managing skills to inspire and lead the team.
Requirements
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Work with copywriters to produce final design
- Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience
- Cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media
- Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Test graphics across various media
- Present completed ideas to clients/team members
- Support sales and pitching process
- Oversee all digital media projects with proper project management methodologies
- Resolves operational problems and optimize processes
- Generate innovative ideas and strategy to evolve digital media projects
- Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices
- Train and coach the Digital Media team
To succeed in this position, you must have:
- Degree in Design, Digital Media, Fine Arts or related field
- Proven work experience as a Digital Media / Creative Director or Supervisor
- Expertise with design software and technologies (Adobe Suite, etc)
- Understanding of how the Digital ecosystem and Digital Marketing work
- Project management skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Creativity and ideation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills (for sale pitches and trainings)
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
- Ability to Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well
