Seven Red Lines is in the process of scaling out our Business Intelligence solution and extending our Banking Data Warehouse offering.
We are looking for an ambitious individual to take a principal role in the design and implementation of our DWH/BI products and services. We are looking for a person with solid technical knowledge who can understand the business impact as well.
The role requires skills in business analysis, technical design, implementation and team leadership. Yes it is demanding. And it is rewarding. You will work for a small company in its scaling out phase. You will work closely with the founders and be an integral part of the company’s success and growth. Responsibilities:
- Your main focus will be our Banking DWH/BI offering. You will need to extend the existing implementation and enhance the offered services.
- You will interact with clients to understand their needs and translate them to technical requirements.
- You will lead the technical development and a small team of developers.
- You will also participate in the development of other BI products and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Solid knowledge of Data Management and Data Warehouse design and implementation (ETL, Staging/Target Area, OLAP, Dimensional Modeling, Data Marts)
- Working experience of 5+ years in Database, DWH/BI projects, preferably in the Banking industry.
- Experience in Reporting and visualization tools (preferably Power BI, MicroStrategy or Tableau, Qlik etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Additional competencies:
- An MBA, or an MSc in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Finance or another related field will be considered a plus
- Experience in developing solutions in Azure or AWS
- Understanding of Agile practices
- Experience in Python
- Experience in any of the following sectors: Banking, FMGC, Manufacturing
- Experience in leading small teams
