As a UX/Conversational Interface Design Specialist, your key responsibility will be to design amp; optimize the user experience for multiple projects and services across the whole Costumer Journey, mainly for USSD / SMS / IVR Interfaces. You will be actively collaborating with various stakeholders from various departments Product Managers, Solution Architects, Software Engineers, Business Analysts amp; Account Managers, to support in the delivery of new features amp; optimizations that enhance each project’s performance.

What you will do

  • Designing user flows, customer journeys, and prototypes that communicate the user interaction and designing ideas to the stakeholders
  • Crafting detailed design specifications for transactional and informational user interactions for USSD / SMS / IVR interfaces
  • Interacting with Software and QA engineers throughout the development, testing, and implementation phases of multiple projects to ensure product integrity
  • Continuously optimizing UX content design through application of best practices and continually implementing updates based on performance
  • Using design thinking methods to iterate through concepts that can be tested and validated with users
  • Leveraging data and user feedback to drive and influence design decisions

What you will bring

  • At least 3-4 years' past experience in a similar position
  • Experience in a telco environment has a strong preference
  • The ability to design and envision user experiences to effectively communicate them as requirements to the relevant stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Vision, Lucidchart or similar flowcharting tool
  • Basic understanding of Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Axure or wireframe amp; prototyping tools
  • Passion and knowledge about UX, User-Centric Design, Usability, User Research, Analytics
  • Understanding the constraints of different interfaces: SMS, USSD, Interactive Voice Response systems, Feature Phones, Smartphones
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in: Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Human Factors, or Architecture will be considered a plus
