Responsibilities
- CPE customization and interoperability verification for broadband and voice services portfolio including Fixed Wireless Access
- Handle the lifecycle of CPEs though firmware testing and deployment
- Author RFI/RFPs requirements for CPE supply and subsequently evaluate proposed equipment and services
- Collaborate with other technical and commercial teams for the design of new services
- Communicate and cooperate with 3rd parties / suppliers
- Take part in technical reviews and provide leadership to facilitate design and technical strategies
- Design and execute prototype efforts/lab tests/performance and system tests
- Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve/escalate problems concerning customer complains as part of 2nd and 3rd level support process
- Coordinate with Vendors the proper handling of Trouble reports within SLAs, for any issue/problem occurs
- Track amp; Execute debug on failures to collect diagnostic data, determine root cause to drive corrective actions
- Get highly involved in new technologies e.g. 5G, NB-IOT with hands-on experience
Requirements
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in Telecoms, Computer Science or related field
- At two (2) + years’ experience in Telecoms, Testing, Development, Operations or Network Monitoring role
- Strong experience in CPEs customization and management through TR069, from an Operator or Vendor position is a plus
- Knowledge of DSL networks, VOIP protocols and TR-069 management protocol
- Knowledge of IP networks, IPv4/v6 stacks, Routing, QoS etc.
- Excellent coordination skills, attention to detail
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Self-driven, highly collaborative
- English language fluent (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
