Mid Senior JavaScript Engineer React/Redux

We are looking for a Mid Senior Level Javascript Engineer to join our team in Athens, Greece (remote possible).

You will be part of a talented software team that delivers the latest in Virtual Assistant technologies in Banks and Mobile Network Operators across the world. You will be contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, working with the latest features of JavaScript, using tools and libraries like React and Redux.

Responsibilities

• Javascript application development
• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems geared for high-availability and performance
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Consistently produce well designed, testable and efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Prior experience (3+ years) building frontend web applications
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (es2015), CSS3 and HTML5
• Solid experience (2+ years) in React and Redux
• Consistently produce well designed, testable and efficient code
• Experience with build tools (webpack, rollup)
• Experience with version control systems (git)
• Good understanding of REST standards
• Ensure designs comply with specifications
• Desire to learn and continuously give and receive feedback effectively
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and follow agile practices
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with a statically typed language, preferably Typescript
• Experience with CSS-in-JS (styled-components, emotion)
• Experience with jest and @testing-library/react
• Experience with latest React features e.g. hooks
