Enartia is looking for a passionate Linux system administrator to be a member of our infrastructure team.
They should be constant learners, highly motivated, familiar/expert with web hosting,
value team-work and be focused on building customer-first solutions.
Responsibilities
Monitoring and uptime services
- Ensuring proper and valid monitoring of monitoring. A valid function is to update the various metrics depending on the server so that they correspond to reality and there are no unnecessary alarms.
- Recording of recurring problems related to infrastructure on a weekly basis. These problems will be presented to the team in order to find a solution and address them.
- Server provisioning and automation
Monitoring the utilization of live servers.
- Replacement of full servers.
- Installation and valid disposal of new servers for use.
- Creation and updating of the necessary mechanisms for the automatic installation and provision of a production server.
DevOps
- Support the team of developers.
- Providing tools and infrastructure to devs
Requirements
- More than 4-5 years managing Linux server infrastructures.
- In-depth understanding of Linux systems.
- Strong programming skills in at least one programming language such as Python.
- Experience with web and email services (NGINX, HTTP, postfix, dovecot)
- Experience with virtualization technologies like KVM
- Working knowledge of a configuration management system like Ansible.
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
- Effective communication and written skills with a strong tendency to Jira and Confluence.
